Dr. Hongwei Kan is the Professor, the Director of Inspur Heterogeneous Acceleration Innovation Team, Jinan Government Distinguished Expert, Principal Researcher of the State Key Laboratory of High Efficiency Server and Storage Technology, Co-professors of the CUMT and BUPT, etc. It is mainly engaged in the research of reconfigurable distributed heterogeneous acceleration platform for AI and cloud edge data center, and the original basic research of AI algorithm model and feature measurement.

Focus on distributed acceleration platform, next-generation data center xPU computing architecture, CPU/FPGA/xPU full-stack acceleration, AI algorithm analysis platform and evaluation system and OS kernel acceleration. He has presided over 6 major international and domestic research projects and more than 100 papers/patents. A number of achievements have been applied or authorized to well-known enterprises, and the gaps in the field have been filled.
