Dr. Kyle Wong, President, Association of Blockchain Development

Dr. Kyle Wong, Ph.D. and CFA, is a Co-founder of GreatMeta, a startup helping enterprises integrate Metaverse technology in their business. GreatMeta is the organiser of Metaverse Asia Expo, an annual event focusing on the use case of Metaverse which is held in Metaverse. Kyle is also the President of the Association of Blockchain Development, promoting the business adoption of blockchain technology.

From 2010 to 2016, he was the Chief Operating Officer of a hedge fund company in Hong Kong. He is the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Artificial Intelligence Hong Kong Limited, which is dedicated to promote the application of AI in the financial industry. AIHK has built a community of more than 160 machine learning experts in Asia.

Kyle received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Applied Physics from Cornell University. His PhD thesis is on the study of metal- semiconductor interface using electron microscopy. He received his B.S. degree in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is also a trained Corda developer. Corda is a distributed ledger platform specially designed for the financial sector.
