Dr. Patrick Hung received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Hong Kong. He was Consulting Assistant Professor at Stanford University Computer Systems Laboratory from 20o3 through 2009. He was Taishan Scholar in China and C.B.I. Overseas Scholar in the U.K.

Dr. Hung was Principal Architect at NEC Electronics America, and had extensive working experiences in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and China. He had also co-founded a number of fabless semiconductor companies in Silicon Valley and in China.  Currently, Dr. Hung is Distinguished Professor at Inspur Group, Vice Chairman at IEEE Computer Society (Hong Kong Section), and Advisor at Hong Kong City University CALAS laboratory, and Industry Advisor at HKSTP Corporate Venture Fund.
