Dr. Y. K. Li

Dr. Li has more than 30 years of multinational experience in high-tech industries. He is currently CTO of Simbury Ltd. Prior to that, he held important executive positions in several high-tech companies such as UMEC(HK), UNISYS, Cadence Design System, ASTRI in Hong Kong, China, and the US. In the last ten years, he was involved in innovation activities in Fintech, AI, and Semiconductor industries.

Dr. Li is active in his participation in activities organized in the industry. He has several external appointments, including visiting professor of Peking University, Fellow of The Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology, Advisory committee member on Electronic Engineering in CUHK, and Senior Member of IEEE. His major research areas are in Venture Funding, Business Model, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation.
